ENERGY MEDICINE

Reiki is a well-known form of energy medicine. Therapeutic Touch is another; in fact, it is an accepted form of therapy that is practiced by registered nurses in many human hospitals across the country. Perhaps even better known among horse owners and trainers is Linda Tellington-Jones' innovative TTouch method.

In my practice, I use energy medicine in three ways:

  1. medical intuitive evaluation
  2. therapeutic touch (when performing manual therapy)
  3. distance healing*

(*As with medical intuitive evaluation, energetic forms of healing are not limited by distance. Prayer is a good example of this concept.)

I find energy medicine a fascinating subject and a wonderful addition to my practice. It is particularly gratifying to have a scientific explanation for the phenomena I observe in my patients.
