This wonderful herb is another whose properties I thought I understood, but whose essence gave me a greater perspective on its true power.

Hawthorn essence reconnects us to our Source, so Source energy flows freely and easily through the body, especially through the cardiovascular system.

This lovely essence made my cold hands feel warm and vibrant. It spoke of fidelity and devotion, purity and piety (God awareness).

That's how it helps the heart: by entraining the heart to the rhythm of the universal life force; strong, stead, efficient, effortless, beautiful!

I take this essence whenever I'm feeling sad or out of sorts for no good reason. It quickly helps me feel good again.

By the way, I asked Hawthorn why it has thorns: "We like to be very fruitful, but in order to do that, we need to protect ourselves from being overeaten."
