I'm with Hippocrates: our food should be our medicine, and our medicine our food. Of course, there is a time and a place for medical intervention. The point is simply that when we eat well and otherwise take good care of ourselves, there is less need for interventions of any kind. Good health begins with good food. I also believe that feeding ourselves and those we care for should not be complicated. All it takes is to listen to our bodies and follow nature's lead. To these ends, I have developed a simple line of herbal products for horses and other animals: * dried herbs - leafy and powdered blends of dried herbs * herbal essences - special water-based preparations of medicinal herbs * miscellaneous - various herbal tinctures and other nutritive items And if you are so inclined, you'll find the recipes for most of these herbal blends in my herbal recipe book (click on animabooks) so that you can begin to make them yourself.
