"The Vitex berry harmonic, while all about balance, had proven to have a great effect on cats spraying and marking their territories. Even spayed/neutered cats will spray to deal with conflict and stress. While it may not come from a high testosterone level, it none the less is a reality in multiple animal/cat homes. However since the introduction of the Vitex Berry not a single animal has sprayed inside in two months! What a lovely essence!

Nettles from under the Hawthorn tree was added to help support the fur-babies dealing with FIP and UTI. Having compromised immune systems they are the first to get fleas and ticks. I am not a fan of monthly back-of-neck treatments. While this area is having its worst flea problem in years, there is not a single flea or tick here - and more importantly, there is no pesticide use on the animals in over 3 months!

Today we added the Rhodiola harmonic. It is definitely pure joy in a bottle as well as inner peace! While paying bills this morning, never a fun task, 5 cats were all over the room. Tails moved in soft sweeps, their breaths came in deep cleansing sighs; bodies sprawled with bellies up in total contentment. It was the 2 Alpha males, 2 mid level boys, and the female who is at the bottom of the ladder, normally not allowed inside, playing with a toy mouse as the others looked on indulgently. Purr joy for all!"

From Rachel D, who uses the herbal essences in her animals (horses, dogs, cats) and here writes of her own magical experiences with these essences:

"I woke up this morning with voices in my head to come downstairs and talk. So, I came down, wrapped up in my blanket, and asked which essense to start with.

Elder berry is the one that came up, and it went to my throat, asking me to release control, and then to right behind my belly button - it felt like a stitch, like someone pulling on my skin internally - not a painful, or bad experience, just "Hey, right here!  Do you see it?!" And, then I felt moved on.

Chamomile is what came up. I took it the first time, and it is the wonderful warm glow I remember, like a warm waterfall of joy and gentle awareness. Down my arms - it divertered away from my core area and went down my arms and down the sides of my core, like there was a rock in the waterfall, down to my feet to glow. Gets me to my body, feels really safe and warm and gentle. Like I can ride the waves of life with no problem.

Vitex came next with the absolute lighting up of my nervous system - it feels like I can see one of those nervous system charts in my body by points of light. Brought strong awareness to balance and I realized my head was off to one side, and I was sitting unevenly. Now, I can ride the waves in balance and grace.

Dandalion leaf & flower offered assistance with the continued stitch in my abdomen. She starts in the middle of my body, and the energy goes out from there, wrapping around my torso. The stitch started to release, I started to breath deeper, got a funny taste in my mouth. And big releases / flushing started in my kidney / liver area. Then, it went to my knee [injured a few weeks ago and still not healed] to flush, and then to my throat.

Now, I need to go back to the Chamomile. Yes, now, this is good. Washing, flushing waterfall of warmth and release. My knee is starting to feel integrated, doesn't feel distant anymore. Big gut sounds - big release and movements. I took a bit more, and it felt like it came up through the back of my intestines with a brush. Sensations like I am really hungry, headache, low blood sugar. 

I feel like I need Echinacea, but I have to go to the barn for it.  (Definitely need another bottle of that!!! )

I have a lot of gas and a lot of movement in my intestines. 

But, when I got in, it was the Schizandra that came forward. 

The bottle buzzes, and will make the other bottles buzz if you carry them in your pocket.  Amazing level of energy emanating from the bottle. It goes down my face to my throat, and then to my heart. I feel bright and sunny, although it is cloudy and rainy outside. Then, it goes to my core star, the connection with source energy. It is almost itchy, buzzing, alive, like a bee with a message. I can breath deeper and feel very solidly in my body."

"Hey! I know this feeling! This is when I meditate and I "recollect" all of the energy I have invested in a bunch of external things/people/situations.  It is how I healed by body from cancer and ailments that the doctors couldn't diagnose.  This is me, whole!!! That is why I feel so wonderful!!! Oh, this is beyond words!! This is the healing energy of being whole and aware and fully present to glow with life.

When I was ill, I realized I had to let go of all of the "connections" I had externally, and bring my energy back home. If I have a budget of energy, some of it would be allocated for base operation, some allocated for routine maintenance, there would be a continency fund for any catastropic event that required healing  (injury, long term stress, etc), and then a spendable income account to experience the joy and wonder of life!!!

How I invest the energy drives how healthy my body is; if I invest energy in people, situations, events, or activities that drain energy, then it impacts my budget. At first, it may just be the spendable income account. But if I stay stuck in that pattern, then it could start impacting my catastrophic fund, even my routine maintannce and core operations required for base operation. The body takes loans from other systems to keep the core systems going. If the energy drain is significant enough, for long enough, to not provide enough energy to the core operations, the body goes bankrupt.

During the period of energy underrun, the body has to prioritize where the energy is invested and the other areas start to ail. Because those areas of ailment would require energy to heal, the body has to decide whether to keep the core systems going, or to try to heal an ailment. The survival mechanism drives the body to keep the core systems alive and it seems to forget about the areas of ailment. If energy is reintroduced, the body will slowly start to turn processes back on for maintenance. If the energy continues, then healing can begin to occur. However, sometimes the body needs to be reminded that the ailment is there in order to use the "new" energy.

If the energy continues, then the healing can be accomplished, and the energy can start moving into the spendable income account again. THIS IS WHAT THIS HERB FEELS LIKE TO ME!!!! A reminder to bring the energy back into the budget to fill up the spendable income account again!!! It feels WONDERFUL!!!!! This is wisdom I remembered during my healing, and when I took the solution, it all came back, as if blooming in each of my cells until I was full of it, and remember what it is to be whole and connected.

 Then, I went back to Elder berry, which simply offered an incredibly royal, ancient, very proud energy.  It has more for me, but not today."
