Why the caution? Because simple is not for everyone. Well, it is; but not everyone wants to take such a simple, light-handed approach to health and disease.

So, lest anyone be disappointed or dissatisfied, I figured I'd better open with a caution. My aim is to follow nature's lead, keep it simple, light, and unhurried, and accept whatever comes.

If you're longing to live more simply, to have a more holistic outlook (in the full sense of the word), and take a more natural approach to how you live and take care of your animals, then welcome!

The things I use most often to get and keep myself, my beloved dog, and my patients healthy include these:

* herbal medicine

* homeopathy and homotoxicology

* manual and movement therapies

* a variety of other conventional and unconventional therapies

I offer farm/barn and home visits, as well as phone consultations on a case-by-case basis. (Sorry, no e-mail consultations, except for existing clients, and only if appropriate for the case.)

Fees: A 1-hour consultation is $175. Some first-time consults take longer than an hour, especially for complex problems or multiple animals. Some follow-up consults take only 30 minutes. All are billed accordingly.

The trip charge for visits is based on drive time and will vary according to whether it's a solo trip or I can share your trip charge with someone else. Please call or e-mail for an estimate.
